Body-Guard is an extremely tough and long lasting two pack water based coating system designed to protect metal substrates in very hostile surroundings against corrosion, abrasion, scuffing, chipping etc.
Body-Guard leaves a matt finish, comes in various colours and can be over painted for aestetic purposes if necessary. It is not necessary to use an undercoat with Body-Guard.
Uses: Vehicle undercarriages (Off road and regular) Trailers, Boats, ships, decks, poles , pylons, sheds, roof trusses, purlins, water piping, or any metal surface that needs protection.
The substrate must be clean, dry and stable before application of Body-Guard. Loose rust, dirt, oil, etc. must first be removed.
Mixture:
3 parts of pack no. 1 (Mineral blend) to 2 parts of pack No. 2 (Resin blend), stir until properly mixed with NO lumps.
Application:
Body-Guard can be applied by brush, roller or spray applicators. Equipment is washed with ordinary tap water. Apply one or more coats according to needs. Body-Guard dries fast (30 to 60 minutes) so mix only enough at one time for so long.
Coverage:
2 to 4 square meters per liter per coat.
Colours:
Red, green, black, blue, white, grey, yellow and brown.
