Brick-Masta is a two pack coating system for use on ash or cementicious bricks or blocks for the purpose of beautifying, sealing and waterproofing. Brick-Masta can also be used on plastered surfaces, and is specially good for coating onto polystyrene for waterproofing and hardening for outdoor uses such as pillar caps, widow sills etc. This will make the polystyrene durable and weatherproof. Brick-Masta comes in three textures, viz, fine cut, middle cut and rough cut. These describe the various textures of the finishes. A well made brick or block wall (Structure) need not be plastered before applying Brick-Masta, a great saving is made by eliminating this step. (A superb product for low cost housing projects as it removes the need for plastering onto the substrate (Bricks or blocks etc.) and is without a doubt the most effective water proofer and long lasting paint available for this purpose anywhere. This product is excellent value for money.
The substrate must be clean, dry and stable before applying Brick-Masta.
Mixture:
Mix equal parts of powder and crystals in pack one to equal parts of fluid in pack two. Stir for a while, until there are no lumps left. The mixture can be applied successfully if mixed in the ratio of 2 parts of powders to one part of fluid by volume.
Application:
Apply with a block brush or other large soft bristle brush to the surface using vertical brush strokes. Depending on the application quality, a second coat may or may not be necessary.
Coverage:
From 1 to 2 square meters per liter depending on the texture chosen.
Colours:
Various shades of red, green, brown, blue and yellow also black or white.
