Fibre-Guard is a solvent based product, formulated to act as a very effective waterproofing, sealing and protective coating for fibrous products such as wood, bamboo, cane, reeds, thatch etc. Fibre-Guard is a clear coating with slight glazing properties that brings out the beautiful natural colours of the substrate onto which it is coated, whilst leaving a slightly darker shade and enhancing any contrasts. Fibre-Guard is thinned with mineral turpentine, therefore brushes and equipment are also cleaned with it.
The substrate should be clean, dry and stable before the application of Fibre-Guard
Application
Apply with brush roller or spray applicators.
Coverage
Depending on the porosity of the substrate, from 2 to 5 square meters per liter (kg)
