Hydrox is a very effective self curing water proofing cement based coating which comes in powder form to mix with water prior to application.
Hydrox will effectively stop dampness in basements or wherever moisture is a problem. Hydrox can be used for reservoirs, swimming pools, Water features, for pointing between bricks or blocks to prevent dampness from seeping through and a host of other applications. Hydrox can be used as an additive for mortar to water proof same.
Hydrox should be applied directly onto damped surfaces.
Hydrox can be effectively used on housing projects or any other building as a final coating either over plastered or bagged surfaces or directly onto ash or cement bricks or blocks.
Hydrox comes in a variety of colours and is applied by brush using preferably two coats 6 to 8 hours apart. It is useful to wet the surface to be coated with a fine spray before applying Hydrox, and at intervals between coats.
The substrate should be clean dry and stable.
Application
Apply by brush, roller or spray applicators.
Coverage
Hydrox covers approximately two square metres kg. One Kg of Hydrox makes approximately one litre of mix.
