This marvelous invention represents the most modern approach to the specific problem experienced by mines of rock fragments/large flakes or pieces of rock from falling onto mine workers below after blasting and before a more permanent solution such as gunniting can be applied. This is truly a rock mechanics` dream.
Kipi-Tup is a wet in the can solution with extreme strength, which dries quickly underground even in humid hot conditions. Kipi-Tup is applied by means of a small portable pneumatic driven pump which can easily be carried by one worker- with the product - in a matter of seconds - in the smallest of confined areas.
Kipi-Tup replaces all other thin skin liners.
Kipi-Tup is specially formulated to optimize poor lighting conditions underground aiding substantially in visibility.
Kipi-Tup is a one pack wet in the can system -No mixing- as with other common solutions. This means consistency of quality and no time wasting.
Kipi-Tup is Non cement based therefore does not succumb to the erratic and poor curing processes of cement based products in underground wet, humid and hot conditions, it dries perfectly quickly, evenly and consistently in these hostile conditions every time.
Kipi-Tup is fire retardant thus will not add to those dangerous situations.
Kipi-Tup is fortified with systems that will thermally insulate the hot rock faces thus creating a cooler environment for workers.
Kipi-Tup is environmentally friendly and will pass any safety test set for it in underground conditions in the most strict of circumstances.
Kipi-Tup is ideally suited for multi-tasking in mines as the application/use can easily be taught to even the most unskilled of workers.
Kipi-Tup because of its versatility can be used for a number of other applications above or below ground.
Coverage
Kipi-Tup covers about 1 to 3 square meters per liter depending on the strength required.
