Pyro-Shield is a flame and fire retardant water based coating which leaves a smooth matt finish.
Pyro-Shield comes in a variety of pastel and darker shades.
Pyro-Shield can be applied to almost any substrate such as plastered walls, masonite, gypsum board, cement fibre, timber, can be over coated old paint etc.
Pyro-Shield can be applied by brush roller or spray applicator.
Pyro-Shield is non toxic does not emit fumes to any significant extent therefore can be used safely indoors.
Surface preparation. The substrate must be clean and dry prior to application. Best practice is to adhere to Cosmo-Dec`s surface preparation guidlines for more detail.
Bonding liquid or undercoats can be useful depending on the substrate.
Coverage. 6 to 10 square meters per liter depending on the substrate.
