Silverite is  a silver coloured metal roof coating suitable  for all metal roofs with or without rust onset.

Silverite is ideal for applying to roofs for the purpose of regeneration thus adding substantially to the longevity of such roof manifesting in huge cost savings.

Silverite represents the latest available in generation 4 chemicals. This remarkable coating utilizes, among others metallic technology to achieve it's properties. Use Cosmo-Thin as the cleaning agent for brushes and equipment.

Silverite will not display rust show through if painted directly on to rusted surfaces such as IBR, corrugated iron, pylons, cranes, metal poles, tanks etc.

Application

Apply with brush, roller or spray applicators. Generally the product is at the correct viscosity for these applications. Should thinning be necessary however, use Cosmo-Thin or contact either of our factories or consultants for additional advice.

For rusty roofs use an under coat (primer) first, after mechanically removing all visible  rust to the best of your ability.

Approx  20 square meters per liter depending on the condition of the roof and method of application and ambient conditions.

Information

Silverite is energy non-conductive and  has a high solar reflective capacity, although low in infra-red emisivity. ( Reflectivity or albedo is the hemispherical reflectivity integrated over a particular wavelength band of the electromagnetic spectrum.) Encompassing wavelengths in  the range of solar irradiance from 0.28 to 2.8 microns.
