Product information
Eco-Plaster is a pre-mixed, cementitious plaster compound to which water is added on site. The resultant wetted plaster is then troweled onto the chosen surface leaving an attractive coloured finish with all the properties of ordinary cement and sand plaster.
In order to add extra waterproofing properties to Eco-Plaster the wetting process can be done with Hydro-Guard, adhering to it’s specifications. This Hydro-Guard wetted Eco-Plaster will then have the added properties of additional strength, better adhesion, less of a propensity to crack and significantly more waterproofing properties etc.
Surface preparation
As with regular plastering, the surface should be clean dry and stable. In the event that the adhesion of Eco-Plaster is suspect, keying can be done as well as coating the substrate with plain Hydro-Guard to facilitate adhesion.
Coverage
This is a pure volumetric arithmetical function depending on the thickness to which Eco-Plaster is applied.
A 10 mm thick plaster will require 10 liters or 15 Kg`s of Eco-Plaster, approximately R120-00 per square meter.

Trowel on as with ordinary plaster. easy to work.
