Fibre-Guard is a tough waterproofing enamel for wood that is UV stable and also acid resistant. Use this product inside and also outside for a clean, easy to maintain, gloss finish.
Fibre-Guard is a solvent-based enamel for wood formulated to act as a very effective waterproofing, sealing and protective coating for fibrous materials such as wood, timber, gum poles and also bamboo.
Fibre-Guard is a clear, quick drying enamel that leaves a gloss finish to bring out the beautiful natural colours of the surface. Whilst also leaving a slightly darker shade and enhancing any contrasts.
Our product is highly resistant to acids and corrosives including sulfuric acid, providing only the best protection for wood, timber and bamboo surfaces. Acids and corrosives are simply washed off thoroughly with soap and water.
Fibre-Guard is also UV stable and can be used for both indoor and outdoor protection.

Surface preparation
The substrate should be clean, dry and stable before the application of Fibre-Guard.
Remove any loose dirt, dust and grime.
Tape off the area to to ensure a clean finish.
Application
Apply our enamel for wood by brush, roller, micro fibre as well as spray applicators.
Clean brushes and equipment thoroughly with mineral turpentine then with water.
We recommend a minimum of two coats of this product on older surfaces.
Coverage
Depending on the porosity of the substrate, from 10 to 16 square meters per liter.
