Surface Preparation
It is recommended that thatch be brushed / combed prior to the application of Thatch Sealer.
If there are large holes or sections of thatch that need to be replaced or filled in, this should be done before the application of Thatch Sealer.
The thatch should be clear of dirt as well as debris.
Application
Apply Thatch Sealer by airless sprayer, compressor as well as knap sack sprayer.
For general sealing and protection apply a single coat.
For small to moderate leaks apply two coats of Thatch Sealer.
Severe leaks require the application of three coats.
Coverage
4 square metres per litre on thatch.
