COMPOSITION
Fire-Guard™ is a low-viscosity, milky blue fluid; furthermore, it dries to a clear finish.

SUITABLE SURFACES
Thatch, grass as well as cape reed.
Timber, bamboo, gum poles and also wood.
MDF board, chip board, Masonite, mezzanine as well as ply wood.
Palm leaves and also reeds.
In addition, for hard fibrous surfaces that have been sealed, Seal-Bond™ is mixed into the Fire-Guard™ prior to application to allow for adhesion.

APPLICATION
The surface must be clean and dry, free from dust, dirt as well as grime.
Our accredited thatch fire retardant emits no fumes, thus indoor applications can be done without ventilation equipment.
Apply Fire-Guard™ by brush, roller spray and also dip.
In addition, soak new thatch grass in a bath of Fire-Guard™ for a few minutes, then allow to dry for an hour.
Wash equipment with water as well as soap.
COVERAGE
Fire-Guard™ covers, from 2 to 7M2 / L, depending on the surface type as well as the method of application.
However, on thatch the spread rate is 1 to 4M2 / L and for soaking applications use 1,5 to 2L / M2.
